The technology behind our charging cabinets

Battery Safety goes beyond just safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. Our solutions can be equipped with an integrated fire detection and extinguishing system that responds quickly to smoke development, temperature rise, or an incipient battery fire.

Depending on the application, our cabinets can be linked to an existing fire alarm system, so that alarms are immediately visible on your central fire detection system. Also, forwarding to a control room, building management, or responsible persons is among the possibilities, allowing for quick intervention, even outside of working hours.

For fire fighting, we use AF-X Fireblocker, a recognised aerosol extinguishing agent that is applied worldwide for the protection of electrical installations, technical rooms, and lithium-ion battery applications. The system automatically intervenes in the event of an incident and helps to significantly limit the consequences of a battery fire.

Thus, Battery Safety combines safe storage, professional fire detection, and automatic extinguishing in one integrated solution for maximum protection of people, buildings, and business continuity.
